Our Story
Chagrin Valley Business Strategies is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wernick Spear Wealth Managers. We work with business owners and their families to ensure their personal financial goals and business strategies are aligned. ​It is not uncommon for the majority of an owner's net worth to be tied up in their business. Planning for our clients' financial future proved difficult when we didn't know what their most valuable asset was worth, or how much it could be worth in the future. Our clients needed more, and we listened...​We partnered with a valuation company out of Colorado to provide opinions of value for our clients' businesses, but soon realized our process was too good to keep a secret! After some logistical hurdles were addressed, Chagrin Valley Business Strategies was born.
Mission
According to a study conducted by the Exit Planning Institute, approximately 70% of small businesses will fail to successfully sell or transfer to the next generation. If that statistic comes to fruition in our hometown of Cleveland and many others like it around the country, economic catastrophe could follow.
